1 | Ice Cream Creations by Magnum

Location we purchased snack: Ice Cream Creations, Production Courtyard, Walt Disney Studios

The made-to-order Magnums at Ice Cream Creations are one of our favourite snacks at Disneyland Paris. Located close to the exit of Studio 1 in Walt Disney Studios, there are three themed magnums available: Minnie Mouse, Up and The Lion King custom magnums.

We got the Up Magnum which was a dark chocolate Magnum with white chocolate shavings, M+M chunks and coloured chocolate-coated balls, finished with a print of the Up house. We love Up and we love Magnums so this was a perfect match for us!

Disneyland Paris Hotels

For the best experience at Disneyland Paris we recommend staying at one of the on-site Disney hotels. We’ve stayed at all 6 of the on-site Disney hotels and they are all fantastic – check prices now!

We always book a hotel and tickets package directly with Disneyland Paris and there are some huge benefits to staying onsite:

  • Extra magic time: Disney hotel guests get access to the parks one hour before general entry on each day of your stay. This means lower crowds and lower wait times for all your favourite rides!
  • Park tickets: hotel packages include park tickets for each day of your stay, including the day you check in and out. The packages are amazing value compared to reserving the hotel and tickets separately.
  • Parking: parking is included in the room rate (parking at the parks is usually €30 per day)
  • Meal reservations: you can reserve Disneyland Paris restaurants from the time of booking meaning you have access to reserve of the best restaurants before they open up to everyone.
  • Flexibility: Disneyland Paris frequently offers a payment option for a deposit and installments and most bookings are flexible.

2 | Minnie Mouse Cookie Pop

Location we purchased snack: Boardwalk Candy Palace, food truck opposite Buzz/adjacent to Orbitron in Discoverland

These Minnie and Mickey Mouse cookie pops were created to celebrate the 30th anniversary at Disneyland Paris.

The Minnie Mouse Cookie Pop is a shortbread cookie dipped in pink icing and topped with a pink bow. It is served lolly style on a stick and is both tasty and filling. The Mickey Mouse offering is similar but comes without a bow.

There’s something really special about sipping a beautiful glass of champagne in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle while soaking up the wonderful energy at Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris snacks: the champagne cart usually appears in the afternoon or early evening. We didn’t see it everyday but it’s quite easy to miss so keep a lookout for other guests sipping on champagne!

  1. Thanks for this! It’s been hard to find bloggers really getting into the food at DLP but it’s one of our main enjoyments at any park.
In DL Anaheim the two local specialties are churros and macarons- they come in a variety of flavors and are everywhere. What seems to be the local specialty for DLP?

    • Thanks! That’s a tough one, I’m not really sure there is a signature local snack – maybe the Nutella Crepes, sweet treats from Boardwalk Candy or a champagne from the cart at the end of Main Street. We love the snacks in the US parks…I’m now thinking about churros, beignets and mint juleps!
