The much-hyped Marvel Avengers Campus opened in the Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris in July 2022. With frequent appearances from the Marvel Super Heroes, two awesome Avengers-themed attractions and wonderful meet and greets, the campus is an absolute must for Avengers fans. For those of you planning a visit, here’s everything you need to know about the Marvel Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris.
Marvel Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is home to one of the three global Disney Avengers Campuses – the other campus is at Disney California Adventure and the third is due to open in Hong Kong Disneyland in 2023.
The Marvel theming is wonderful across the campus: as you pass through the entrance to the campus you become a ‘recruit’ – the campus was created by Tony Stark to recruit and train the next generation of Super Heroes.
Where to Stay at Disneyland Paris
We love staying at any of the Disneyland Paris hotels when we visit Disneyland Paris – remember, if you book through the Disneyland Paris website tickets are included with the hotel and cover park access from the day of arrival to departure.
We also love the benefit of Extra Magic Hours – Disney hotel guests have an extra hour in the park before it opens for general entry. This is an amazing time to get on some of the most popular attractions with very little queuing.
Tickets
Marvel Avengers Campus is part of Walt Disney Studios Park (one of the two parks that make up Disneyland Paris, the other being Disneyland Park). Access to the Avengers Campus is included in your regular ticket to Walt Disney Studios Park but remember, if you plan to visit both the main Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios on the same day you need a 2-park ticket – if you need to purchase park tickets then – check prices now!

Disneyland Paris Marvel Avengers Campus tip: If you are staying at one of the onsite hotels at Disneyland Paris and have booked a hotel and tickets package, entry is included to both parks from Early Magic Hours on the date of check-in until the park closing time on the date of departure.

Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel

Book your New York Art of Marvel stay now!
We stayed at all of the Disneyland Paris hotels in 2022 and absolutely love the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. It’s a wonderful 4* option and a real treat for Marvel fans.
The hotel walls are a Marvel art gallery with over 350 Marvel themed pieces on display and there are three full-size Iron Man costumes showcased in the lobby. Guests can enjoy cocktails in the Skyline Bar and dinner in the Downtown Restaurant, one of the most sought after dining reservations in Disneyland Paris.
There are daily meet and greets for hotel guests: timeslots can be pre-booked for a Marvel Super Hero Meet and Greet through the Disneyland Paris app from 7 days prior to arrival – we met Thor on our most recent visit.
Marvel Avengers Campus: Attractions
There are two attractions within the Marvel Avengers Campus: Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force.
Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure
Minimum Height Requirement: none (suitable for all riders)
Peter Parker’s Spider-Bots have escaped and are replicating, creating chaos throughout Avengers Campus. Spider-Man needs the help of Avengers Campus recruits (that’s you!), who have been granted web-slinging superpowers, to try and capture the Spider-Bots. Riders board WEB Slinger carriages for this interactive attraction and use their arms to sling webs to help capture the Spider-Bots.
Along with Crush’s Coaster, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is the most popular attraction in Walt Disney Studios and the queue times are consistently long. If you have access to Extra Magic Hour (this is granted to guests who are staying onsite at one of the Disneyland Paris hotels and some levels of Annual Pass Holder) then aim to ride Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure when Walt Disney Studios opens for Extra Magic Hours.
You can also buy a Disney Premier Access Pass which allows you to access the attraction through the Premier Access queue and cuts the queue time significantly – we paid €18 per person for a single attraction pass on our most recent visit.
Disneyland Paris Marvel Avengers Campus tip: Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is suitable for riders of all ages – it’s one of the many baby friendly attractions at Disneyland Paris. We rode it with our 6 month old on her first visit to Disneyland Paris!
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force
Minimum Height Requirement: 1.2m
Do riders go upside down: yes
A recent addition to Walt Disney Studios, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force attraction was launched in July 2022 as part of Marvel Avengers Campus. Riders join forces with Iron Man and Captain Marvel to save the world from an intergalactic threat.
The 3-second, 0 to 60mph launch is a highlight and this steel rollercoaster features twists and turns including a corkscrew and a double inversion sea serpent roll. It’s one of the most intense rollercoasters at Disneyland Paris (it’s on a level with Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain) so brace yourself!
Disneyland Paris Marvel Avengers Campus tip: if this attraction seems familar, there’s a good chance you might have ridden it before! Prior to its Marvel retheme to become Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, it was originally the Aerosmith Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster which operated in Disneyland Paris between 2002 and 2019.
Marvel Meet and Greets: The Hero Training Center
The Hero Training Center is the setting for Avengers Super Hero meet and greets in the Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park. A virtual queueing system is in operation for the Hero Training Center.
Spider-Man, Captain Marvel and Iron Man host regular meet and greets and there is also the option to pick an unnamed Super Hero and find out their identity at the time of the meet and greet – we met Falcon this way.
The interactions are fantastic at the Hero Training Center and the Avengers Super Heroes will even show you how to pose for awesome photos!
How to reserve a spot at the Hero Training Center
The Hero Training Center works via a virtual queue – spots are released twice daily at 10am and 2pm (make sure to check the Disneyland Paris app for the latest virtual queue times). You can join the queue for one of the listed Avengers Super Heroes or choose the surprise meet and greet.
You can reserve one virtual meet and greet daily and you must be in one of the parks to reserve. Only guests who have activated their ticket can reserve so make sure you swipe each of your party individually upon entering the park – this is really important if you’re entering the park with younger kids as it can be easy to miss swiping a second ticket.
You can make your way to the Hero Training Center when your countdown timer reaches zero and then you will join a short queue in the Hero Training Center to meet your Super Hero.
Marvel Character Appearances
Marvel Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park is really unique in that the Avengers Super Heroes do walkabouts through the campus and show off their epic moves. There’s no way of predicting when the shows will happen but if you hang around Avengers Campus in the afternoon it’s highly likely you will catch some wonderful performances and experience some great character interactions.
On our most recent visit in late 2022 we saw the following Super Heroes during our time spent visiting Avengers Campus:
Heroic Welcome
Avengers Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, Captain Falcon and Iron Man appeared together on the rooftop surrounding the Quinjet aircraft while welcoming new recruits (or park guests!) to the Avengers Campus.
Spiderman
Spiderman entertained with stunts and acrobatics on the roof of the Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure building.
Thor and Loki
Thor and Loki put on a fun interactive show featuring Thor’s Hammer located in front of the gift store, Mission Equipment.
Black Widow
Black Widow leaped from the rooftops close to Mission Equipment, the Marvel Campus gift store, and did a rooftop performance.
Warriors of Wakanda
General Okoye taught the 5 tenets of the Dora Milaje in the Warriors of Wakanda show
Meet and Greets
There is a meet and greet station close to the entrance of the campus where various Super Heroes host meet and greets with recruits.
Character walkabouts
Various Super Heroes walked through the Campus interacting with fans and posing for photos:
Best Place to Spot the Marvel Super Heroes
If you’re in Marvel Avengers Campus in the afternoon one of our favourite things to do is grab a hot dog at the FAN-tastic Food Truck and take a break at the outdoor tables just opposite (outside the Super Diner).
There’s a good chance you will catch some of the Marvel Super Heroes as they make their way through the campus.
Marvel Avengers Campus: Where to eat
There are a variety of food options in the Marvel Avengers Campus:
PYM Kitchen
This all-you-can-eat buffet dinner is described as an experimental lab that uses Ant-Man and the Wasp’s PYM particle technology to shrink and grow the ingredients. The laboratory theming is strong! Reservations open up to 12 months in advance for Disneyland Paris hotel guests and 2 months in advance otherwise.
Stark Factory
A quick-service dining option with pizza, pasta and salads. The concept of Stark Factory is a high-tech workspace where Super Heroes go to recharge and repair.
Super Diner
1950’s style diner serving Reuben Sandwiches. There’s also a great vegan version on the menu.
Food Trucks
The American-themed FAN-tastic Food Truck serves hotdogs and the Asian WEB Food Truck offers a selection of noodle dishes.
You can also grab this Groot-shaped shortbread cookie from Hep Cat Corner in Front Studios (as you enter Walt Disney Studios). It is available with a chocolate hazelnut or a raspberry filling and is one of our favourite snacks at Disneyland Paris.
Marvel Avengers Campus: Gift Stores
The campus has one gift store, Mission Equipment, where a selection of Marvel souvenirs are available to purchase. It stocks Spider-Bots, Power Bands and exclusive apparel.
