Toy Story fans are in for a real treat at Disneyland Paris. With awesome rides, character meet and greets and a Toy Story-themed hotel, Disneyland Paris is a Toy Story dream!
For those of you planning a trip, we wanted to share our guide on where to find everything Toy Story at Disneyland Paris.
Toy Story at Disneyland Paris
If you are in search of Toy Story attractions in Disneyland Paris then you are in luck!
Both the main Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park have Toy Story-themed attractions and Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, one of the onsite hotels at Disneyland Paris, is Toy Story/Wild West themed.
There are also opportunities to meet the Toy Story characters and shop for Toy Story souvenirs!
1 | Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
Often referred to as ‘The Toy Story Hotel’ at Disneyland Paris, Hotel Cheyenne is a Toy Story/Wild West-themed hotel – check prices here!
The hotel is a must for Toy Story fans and there are some wonderful Toy Story touches – Woody and Jessie feature on the lampshades, wallpaper borders and paintings in the bedrooms.
One of the highlights for Toy Story fans is the daily Woody and Jessie meet and greets hosted in the hotel lobby. Every morning between 8.15am and 11am Woodie and Jessie take turns meeting hotel guests – we always pop back to the hotel for a late morning break and our kids love dressing in their Toy Story outfits and catching the end of the meet and greet. It’s a great opportunity to meet Woodie and Jessie without having to queue in the parks.
As well as all the Toy Story fun, one of the greatest perks of staying onsite is Extra Magic Time. As a Disney Hotel Cheyenne hotel guest, you are granted early access to both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park a full hour before regular opening. This means you can access many popular rides when queue times are minimal and enjoy the park with limited crowds.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne tip: we’ve stayed at all 7 of the Disneyland Paris Disney hotels in recent months and absolutley love Cheyenne! It’s an excellent 3* hotel with great rooms, food and themeing! It’s also a firm favourite with our 6, 5 and 1 year old!
Toy Story at Walt Disney Studios Park
Much of the Toy Story action happens in Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris. Part of the park is dedicated to Worlds of Pixar and features classics including Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Cars and Toy Story.
The Toy Story area in Worlds of Pixar is designed to make guests feel like they’ve shrunk to the size of a Toy and are part of Andy’s collection!
Buzz Lightyear stands tall at one of the entrances to the land and you’ll also find Rex inside.
2 | Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop
Location: Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
Height Requirement: 81cm
Disney Premier Access available to purchase: no
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is based on the scene from the original Toy Story movie where the Green Army parachute down the stairs to check out Andy’s birthday presents.
In Disneyland Paris, riders have been enlisted in Sarge’s Little Green Regiment and must learn how to parachute. After buckling up, the parachutes climb slowly to over 80 feet high before pausing at the top and freefalling towards the ground.
The views from the top are fantastic! You can also take a sneak peek at the progress over in World of Frozen, an exciting addition to Disneyland Paris which is due to open in 2026!
Toy Story Guide Disneyland Paris tip: Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is a popular ride and the wait time reflects this. If you are riding alone or don’t mind spliiting across parachutes, the single rider line is a great option.
3 | RC Racer
Location: Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
Minimum Height Requirement: 1.20m
Disney Premier Access available to purchase: no
The Toy Story-themed RC Racer is one of our favorite thrill rides in Walt Disney Studios!
Andy has unpacked his RC Racer and has built this awesome half pipe that towers over Walt Disney Studios – you can’t miss the distinctive orange Hot Wheels half pipe as you walk through the park!
The queue follows a Scaletrix track lined with cool props that make you feel like you have been shrunk to toy size before you board the remote-controlled car. Riders are then propelled backwards and forwards through the half-pipe reaching a height of over 80 metres.
Toy Story Guide Disneyland Paris tip: RC Racer has 5 rows with 4 guests in each – we love riding in the front row! Wait times can be long so we suggest riding early in the morning or utilising the Single Rider queue.
4 | Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin
Location: World of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
Age Requirement: 1 year (no height restriction)
Disney Premier Access available to purchase: no
A gentle rollercoaster-style ride for younger guests, Slinky Dog chases his tale round and round his dog bowl on Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin. The Slinky Dog carriages weave up and down on a small incline as the ride loops around.
5 | Meet Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear
Location: World of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
Woody and Jessie make daily appearances in Walt Disney Studios. The queues can be quite short and a PhotoPass photographer usually accompanies the characters.
Buzz Lightyear was also a frequent visitor to Worlds of Pixar but he hasn’t met guests for some months now. Hopefully Buzz will return to his meet and greet spot soon!
You can check out the meet and greet times on the app – they are listed under characters on the Disneyland Paris app home screen.
6 | Together: a Pixar Musical Adventure
Location: Production Courtyard, Walt Disney Studios
There are some incredible theatre shows at Disneyland Paris and we always schedule time for at least one or two shows on every visit.
Together: a Pixar Musical Adventure is a standout show and this heartwarming musical is focused on Toy Story and its characeters. It also features other beloved Pixar characters form Finding Nemo, Coco and Monsters Inc. Don’t Miss it!
6 | Cute Photo Ops
The Toy Story theming makes for some amazing photo opportunities in Walt Disney Studios. Our two favourites are on the walk-through to Cars Road Trip – they make the perfect Instagram backdrop!
7 | Toy Story Playland Boutique
For Toy Story-themed souvenirs check out the Toy Story PlayLand Boutique in Walt Disney Studios.
There are also lots of Toy Story souvenirs in the gift store at Cheyenne and at Constellations (next to Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast) in Disneyland Park.
Disneyland Paris Park
The Toy Story fun continues in the Disneyland Paris park with Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
8 | Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
Location: Discoveryland, Disneyland Park
Height Restriction: none
Disney Premier Access available to purchase: yes, included in Ultimate Pass or can be purchased for the ride on the day
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is a fantastic ride with amazing details and theming. It’s Buzz Lightyear versus the evil emperor Zurg on this relatively gentle space ride through the Gamma Quadrant.
Riders become junior space rangers and score points by hitting targets with a laser cannon as they cruise through the toy universe in an XP-37 star cruiser. They can also take control of their own vehicles by spinning them around in search of targets.
The lines can be long but there’s lots to see as you pass through – there’s Buzz Lightyear himself, wonderful artwork and ride instructions themed like a toy manual!
Toy Story Guide Disneyland Paris tip: if you achieve the maximum score of 999,999 you are declared a Galatic Hero! To score high, aim for the diamond and triangle shaped targets as they’re worth more!
9 | Disney Stars on Parade
The Disney stars lead the parades at Disneyland Paris and it is one of the highlights of a day in the park.
The parades and their times are dependent on when you visit but the current lineup includes the Disney Stars on Parade which features a dedicated Toy Story float with Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.
10 | Toy Story Snacks
There are some fantastic Toy Story-themed snacks available in Disneyland Paris. The menus often change but the current offerings include the Worlds of Pixar cupcake at Laugh’N’ Go! and the ‘Infinity and Beyond’ Buzz Lightyear-themed eclair at Toon Studios Catering Co.
11 | Constellations
Location: Discoveryland, Disneyland Park
For Toy Story-themed souvenirs check out the Constellations in Walt Disney Studios.
It’s located just outside Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. On our most recent visit, we became the proud owners of a talking Buzz, Woody, Jessie and Zurg!
