2 | Disney Music Festival!
The launch of the first ever Disney Music Festival is set to be one of the highlights of 2025 and we can’t wait!
From April 19 to September 7, Disneyland Park will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of music. This inaugural festival will feature 12 unique musical celebrations spread across the park’s five lands. Here’s a glimpse into what to expect:
- Main Street, U.S.A.: Mickey and Minnie, dressed in special outfits, will welcome guests as live performances fill the air with timeless Disney tunes. Don’t miss Mary Poppins and Bert leading a lively band down Main Street U.S.A
- Discoveryland: Stitch takes the stage at Beta Arcade with energetic performances, while the Videopolis Theatre hosts the Disney Music Hits Concert, featuring live renditions of classic Disney songs.
- Cultural Celebrations:
- Fantasyland: Rapunzel and Flynn serenade guests with folk music.
- Frontierland: Miguel’s Fiesta Latina features a mariachi band
- Adventureland: Moana introduces guests to tropical island rhythms.
- Timon’s Matadance: Join Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu for a percussion-filled dance extravaganza in Adventureland.
- Central Plaza: Laugh along with Goofy and enjoy a grand orchestra finale featuring all the festival’s performers.
Guests can also shop for exclusive festival-themed merchandise and indulge in culinary delights inspired by the festival’s spirit.
3 | Disney Tales of Magic Nighttime Spectacular
Starting January 10, 2025, the new “Disney Tales of Magic” nighttime spectacular will dazzle guests at Disneyland Park. This innovative show will blend cutting-edge technology with timeless Disney storytelling. Highlights include:
- Projections: Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. will be transformed into vibrant canvases showcasing Disney and Pixar stories. this is the first time that Main Street, U.S.A. will be an integral part of the show.
- Pyrotechnics and Fountains: Fireworks and water effects will synchronize with a stunning original soundtrack.
- Drone Technology: Choreographed drones will add a dynamic aerial dimension to the show.
4 | Construction Updates: World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World
As part of its transformation, exciting changes are coming to Walt Disney Studios Park in 2025. While the much-anticipated World of Frozen is set to open in 2026, guests will get a glimpse of the park’s new vision with the debut of the World Premiere entrance area in spring 2025.
The World Premiere area will serve as a glamorous new gateway inspired by Hollywood’s golden age, setting the stage for future adventures within the park. If you have visited Walt Disney Studios previously, World Premiere is replacing the old Studio 1.
- Architectural elements reminiscent of classic Los Angeles landmarks.
- A vibrant open-air atmosphere that captures the glamour of a star-studded Hollywood night.
- Similar to Studio 1, shopping, dining and snacks are the focus of World Premiere.
Walt Disney Studios will be renamed World of Adventure at the time of the 2026 opening.
World of Frozen Update
The highly anticipated Frozen-themed land is set to open in 2026 at Disneyland Paris, immersing visitors in a meticulously detailed recreation of Arendelle complete with new attractions, dining, and character encounters.
The North Mountain is already looming in the Kingdom of Arendell and the main attraction, Frozen Ever After, is under construction. There will also be a meet and greet opportunity with Anna and Elsa.
5 | Pride Lands: The Lion King Comes to Life
Construction will begin in 2025 on Pride Lands, a new Lion King-themed area that will immerse guests in the African savanna. Pride Lands will be the first ever Lion King themed attraction in any of the Disney parks. This exciting addition will feature:
- Log Flume Ride: Relive Simba’s journey through a thrilling water attraction featuring the majestic Pride Rock.
- Character Encounters: Meet iconic characters like Mufasa, Simba, and Rafiki.
- Themed Dining: Enjoy delicious food inspired by the world of The Lion King.
This immersive experience will bring the magic of one of Disney’s most beloved stories to life.
6 | Late 2024 Addition: Minnie’s Musical Moment
In case you missed this in 2024, Minnie’s Musical Moment launched on November 1, 2024. Guests can join Minnie Mouse and her friend Jamie for an interactive, fun-filled show. Guests are invited to play along with Minnie and Jamie as they guess the titles of their favorite Disney songs. This 12-minute experience will run several times daily through March 30, 2025, and it replaced the much-loved Disney Junior Dream Factory.
Families with young children will find this a delightful adventure—a chance to sing and dance with Minnie and make magical memories. If your family enjoyed Dream Factory, this is sure to become a new favourite! Don’t miss out on this heartwarming musical celebration.
